Break 'em Up (Straight/14.1)

One of the key balls in a rack in straight pool is the one you leave on the table while your friend is racking. Make sure you get the angle you need to really break ’em up.

There are a lot of strategies involved in 14.1 continuous/straight pool. Mostly because if you make a mistake your opponent can run 40-50 balls on you. Things like that could add a little pressure to your shot, so make sure you come to the table with some good strategy.

Straight Pool Strategy

The remaining balls are brought back before the last ball in a rack is pocketed.

Position yourself on the last shot so you have a good chance at breaking the balls apart, giving you a next shot.
